@miminsou Restart your computer and try the registry edit again. Make sure you save the change if asked.
I did that and it looks like it's in the right location in the registry edit, I also changed the location of the folder in properties. But it still says it's in OneDrive.
@miminsou Does Sims 4 work now? If so, is it still trying to use a folder in OneDrive or Public Documents? Please check in-game if you can get that far:

If you still can't open Sims 4, create a new admin Windows account and try playing there. Make it local, as in, don't link it to your Microsoft account.
Yes, the game ended up moving to the right folder by itself after I changed the location and is working perfectly. Thank you so much for your time and patience 😊
