@el_kraken6 Hi! Do you have a Mac or PC? Which operating system version do you have? I'm using a PC with Windows 10. For this configuration, the Electronic Arts and the Sims 4 folders will be in Documents. Navigate to them through This PC or the Windows (C : ) drive.
I have 2 computers. One has the folder where it should be and the game works. (xps 13)
The new laptop, Lenovo 15G with 2080 RTX does not have this folder and the game won't launch.
I think there is some kind of software conflict with this game and the type of my computer.

@el_kraken6 It's possible your antivirus is blocking Sims 4 from opening. You could try setting exceptions for TS4_x64.exe and Origin.exe, but that's often not enough; here are some additional settings that need to be changed for Avast and Sophos:

If that doesn't make a difference, please let me know which antivirus you use. Please also run a dxdiag on the Lenovo and attach it to a post.
