Re: EA app deleted itself, how to get Sims back?

This just happened to me tonight. I opened my computer, realized it was laggy, so I restarted it (I usually just put it in sleep). When I got back on the EA app deleted itself and says I need to reinstall it. I tried playing sims 4 offline and it says I need to have origin installed. I see there’s a banner saying that the EA app has run into technical issues, so I wonder if this is one of the problems it’s run into?

@AllisonAria As far as I've seen, the current issue with the EA App does not involve the App uninstalling itself. I'd suggest downloading a fresh copy of the App installer and running it; if you get the option to repair the App, do so.

Once the App is (re)installed properly, if you still can't load it or play Sims 4, try this workaround:
