Re: Firewall alert when launching Sims 4

@LittleHenrietta  Try repairing the game.  If that doesn't work, delete TS4_x64.exe and repair again.  The .exe is within the game's program files; unless you changed the default install location in Origin, the full file path will be:

Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin

Please also let me know which firewall you're using.

I'm having the same problem since the most recent update, and I'm trying to delete the TS4_x64.exe file but I can't find a Sims 4 folder in my Origin Games folder, and I can't find any EA games folder. I'm using Norton if that helps?

  • @LittleOwl888 My Norton seems to have a problem with TS4_Launcher_x64.exe? It is saying 'Data Protector blocked a suspicious action by TS4_Launcher_x64.exe'. I have found TS4_x64.exe and tried deleting and repairing but it did not work.

Hey @LittleOwl888 , this thread is a bit old so I'm locking it to prevent necroposting. Glad that you're able to launch the game though!
