Re: [FIXED] Loading family just loads Map again

Hello, everyone.

Seems rather stressful in here. This is a simple fix, and I actually fixed it myself by accident!

(Take caution that I did this without saving my households because starting over isn't a biggie to me. These steps are very simple, but include 0 instructions on how to keep your saved households!)

The screen taking you back to the World Interface is a fault caused by the recent patch in March 2015 (and possibly previous dates, yet I did not experience those.)

The solution to this is easy: be sure to save any Mods / Households if you want to.

1. Make sure your Sims 4 game is closed, yet you have Origin > My Games open.

2. Locate your Electronic Arts folder within your Documents section.

3. Delete your EA folder.

4. Back to Origin, re-launch your Sims 4 game. Create a random Sim, move them into a household, travel with them ( m ), an even re-load your game if you would like. Refreshing your Sims 4 files should resolve the issue (this is what we just did.)

5. Add back in any salvaged CC or households.

Alternatives:

If performing the above solution proved to be no avail, please try:

1. Completely uninstalling Sims 4 & Origin (from Control Panel. Once uninstalled, search your C: or Computer for any leftover Sims 4/Origin files.)

2. Reinstall origin, the base game, and then each expansion pack.

1. Remove anything within your Mods folder.

2. Remove all of your saves.

3. Start your game and run a test sim. If it worked, your save or Mods are the issue.
