It's perfect, actually.
One of the memory dump's displays an error that is probably related to corrupt system files:- Hit Windows key and X at the same time.
- Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command prompt (Administrator),” or "Windows Terminal (Administrator)", whichever option is offered.
- Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter: (You can copy and paste the following bold/cursive text.) DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Checkhealth
- Press ENTER.
- If errors are found, notify us. If no errors were found repeat steps 1 & 2.
- Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter: DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
- Press ENTER.
- The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here.
- After it reaches 100% repeat steps 1 & 2.
- Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter: sfc /scannow
- Press ENTER.
- Post the message you receive at the end of the processes here.
The error in the other memory dump's is more complicated, because it indicates a hardware problem.
Did you in any way overclocked the CPU or changed CPU settings in the BIOS?
Go to the support page of your laptop: https://www.acer.com/us-en/support/product-support/Predator_PHN16-72
Update to the newest BIOS V1.17.
Then, after you restarted the machine update the chipset driver:Chipset Chipset Driver Intel 2024/01 /29 10.1.46.3 5.89 MB Restart the computer and test the system for a wile.
It is possible that the game and the restart problem are unrelated; the above mainly addresses the restart problem.
Please let me know if this helps with the restart problem and if it also helps with the game problem as well.- clurriesims4 months agoRising Vanguard
holger1405 I did not make it past step 8. It got stuck at 62% when validating. I noticed after about ten minutes of that, that the charger had come unplugged from the laptop. I'm not sure if that caused it to freeze. I tried to start over but it would not start at all after that. Should I just move on with the next steps?

I did have Predator Performance mode turned on for a while when I was troubleshooting the game crashing. I have since switched back to Balanced. I have updated BIOS and the chipset driver and will test for the restart problem.
You restarted the Laptop?
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth can take a wile to start the process.
Please try again and leave it running in the background for a wile.
If that still fails continue at step 9.- clurriesims4 months agoRising Vanguard
Thanks, I got all the way through the process this time. Here is the message:
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them. For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located atwindir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offlinerepairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag.I am still experiencing the crashing in build mode unfortunately. - clurriesims4 months agoRising Vanguardundefined

This is my third attempt at leaving a reply.
Crashes are harder to recreate. I'm not getting any in build mode, but I just got one in CAS. I'm hoping this reply goes through holger1405 the sfcdetails file is blank and I think that is why my replies won't post so I took it out
Sorry, my mistake, made a typo.
The correct command is:
findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\LOGS\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt"So:
- Press the Windows key > Write "CMD" (Without the quotation marks.) > Right click on "Command prompt" in the search results > Run as administrator.
- Copy and paste the following line into the CMD window: (With the quotation marks.)
findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\LOGS\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt" - Press ENTER.
- Upload the "sfcdetails.txt" that is now on your desktop.
