Re: Goth household won't load while others do

@107531kop  Try loading the save, or a backup of the save, in a clean game folder.  Move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  Launch the game, which will create a clean folder; you can quit at the Main Menu.  Then copy the save or one of the backups in to the Saves folder inside the clean Sims 4 folder, but don't add anything else.  Just see whether you can play another household for a few sim-hours and switch back to the Goths.

You can ignore any missing objects warning you get—it's easy enough to add some custom content back later, that is if the Goths are playable in the clean folder.  The point of this is to find out whether that's possible at all.

@puzzlezaddict Have done so, but in the time since my initial question about this problem I've talked with lots more people experiencing the same problems or similar ones since the last patch update so I've made a bug-report and since I've checked with clean games and normal games (it really is a game bug). When updating the game I always take out mods/cc first, update & repair, test clean game, then close the game and go through my mods/cc to check for updates/problems and if they're clean I add them again before playing once more.

Please also list the mods you've been using, even though you removed them.  Don't mention any that contain adult content (this site is supposed to be child-friendly), but you can list the creator; all other mods are fine to name directly, as long as you don't link them.  In particular, please let me know if you've been playing with Slice of Life or Life's Tragedies.

@puzzlezaddict listing all mods/cc I'm using is going to be difficult... I've got a couple hundred of each and I'm not entirely sure which I'm using for this save... (a lot of cc so most sims will end up naked)… my main mods are Turbodriver's Woohoo Mod (WW), MC Command Center, llazyneiph's Royalty mod (it's a royal gameplay save), a few of LittleMsSam's mods, TwistedMexi's All Cheat's mod, several of Scumbumbo's mods (being kept updated by other simmers), KawaiiStacie's mods (one of them Life Decider)… I do not use Slice of Life or Life's Tragedies... many of my mods override one or two elements (like the No Murphy-bed death mod because no matter what I did, incl fully upgrading the bed to unbreakable, it kept killing my sims on the first try, but so far I haven't used the bed since I downloaded that mod)… this list is what I can find at the moment... I have a lot more smaller mods that just do one or two little things, but I believe these are my major script mods (all have been checked for updates since the patch), my cc-list is far too big to write down, but I do know that all comes from thesimsresource.com... (via de SimFileShare way of downloading, I don't trust other sites or download methods and I've never had any trouble with SFS). I'll try PM'ing you the save (I'm a complete technoob so I'm not sure if I'll do it correctly).
