Did you add any mods to your game yet ?
If not, try repairing the game through Origin

- I'm struggling can some one tell me what I have to do An somebody help me please I brought a laptop today and sims 4 downloaded fine everything was good when it come on there was a big play button and that let me make sims I saved them in my library and come to realise I don't have no build mode or live mode as iv spent the last few hours trying.. I'm unable to play the game. Iv done the update game and repair in origin but it's still the same it will only allow me to make new sims but nothing else.. the only button avaliable is the play button that let's you create new sims ?? Does anybody no what I can do about this thanks when starting the game only the big play button is there not other buttons
After creating the Sim, did you click on the check mark to place them in the world ?
And this is for the full game and not just the Sims CAS demo, right ?
im having the same problem ever since i downloaded city living....
do we have to delete all of them for good? i cant live without my eyelashes and mc command center :c
@ShinePlays7 This is a player help player forum, and all the advises should be understood as non official. You don't have to do anything. 🙂
But if you use mods and CC, and you get problems in game after a patch, the common reason are that the third party content is not updated; yet. So if you want your game to work the advise is to remove your mods and CC, delete the localthumbcache.package in The Sims 4 folder, possibly do a Repair in Origin, and see if the problem is solved. If it is, then check for updates on the creator's pages. If it isn't, create your own thread and describe your problem in detail, and someone will try to help. 🙂@ShinePlays7 Try deleting or updating the UI cheats mod first, since it's by far the most common cause of this particular issue after the most recent patch. And delete localthumbcache.package as well.
