Thanks, I just downloaded Origin... But where do I go to change the 64 bit settings?

@qnz1bvvqioef  Open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, select Game Properties, then Advanced Launch Options, and choose the 32-bit Legacy Edition from the dropdown menu.

But then it's going to ask me to download the Sims 4 legacy on origin and I search it up but nothing pop up and it's so annoying. Please if you know help for this problem let me know

@100009999999999  The Legacy Edition used to be listed under Extra Content when you're viewing the main Sims 4 page in your game library.  But it appears to be gone now, which is what I'd expect given EA announced a month or two ago that the LE would be discontinued.

Why are you trying to switch to the 32-bit version of Sims 4?  If you've already run the standard edition on this computer, you can continue to do so.  My advice was for someone who specifically wanted to run the LE for whatever reason.

I am trying to change it because the game says to change it and the game is also super laggy, is there a way to make it work?

@chelseadalia  If your game is lagging, that means it's running in 64-bit, so you don't need the Legacy Edition.  As for why it's lagging, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Please also let me know whether you see the lag in a new save in one of the base game worlds.  I'm not suggesting you abandon your current save, but this will be useful information either way.

origin isn’t a thing anymore. it’s just EA so what do i do???

@0x88u40s78ic  There's no way to switch to the 32-bit version of Sims 4 within the EA App.  But do you need to?  Most new or fairly recent computers can run the 64-bit version.  If you're not sure, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
