@DanSim7559  The EA App will always try to download any missing DLC, at least until you cancel it once, but you do have two decent options.  One is to deactivate the packs you don't want to use, as described here:

The other is to create a second EA account and use that instead, at least on the laptop.  The other account won't own your DLC and will therefore not be able to use it.

Neither of these options will affect your other computer or your account.

    the second acount on the laptop was what i was trying to avoid.

    So i am going to look into that link you gave me and hopefully that works.
