Re: I am having a white screen while playing my sims 4 game

This is also happening to me, and it's game-breaking. 

I have looked at potential solutions and none of them apply. I've tried both the EA launcher and the old Origin launcher, no difference.

I don't use mods.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled. No change. 

I've tried it in windowed mode and not. No difference.

I've changed resolutions in the options file. No difference.

I've CTRL-ALT-DEL'd out and in again. Restores the picture, but I can't click anywhere. 

I want to know what's causing this problem so I can fix it. All the potential fixes seem to be based on problems that I don't have.

Can someone please just tell me what this problem is, why it happens, and how I fix it? Nothing has changed between last night, when it worked, and now, when it doesn't.
