@hypnolili  Even if you install the Legacy Edition, you can nomally switch back to 64-bit through Origin.  Open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, select Game Properties > Advanced Launch Options, and select 64-bit from the dropdown menu.

If you don't see the option, that usually means that TS4_x64.exe, which runs the 64-bit version of the game, has been blocked or deleted by an antivirus.  Running a game repair (right-click on the Sims 4 icon and select Repair) will restore the .exe, but it may be flagged again.  So you'll need to at the very least set an exception for it in your antivirus.

If that doesn't fix the issue, please let me know what antivirus you use.
