@jorjataylor  No, you won't need to rebuy the game.  Your Origin account owns Sims 4, not your computer, and you have the right to install it as many times as you want, on as many systems as you want.  When you're ready to reinstall, just sign into your account, open your game library, click on the Sims 4 icon, and you'll see a Download button.
