Re: In game screenshots glitching

@Kurbizzle  Screenshots should be fine on any graphics settings, and in fact they can be fine when the game overall is running poorly.

As for the dxdiag, you can delete the machine name at the top, but there's no other information that is so personal as to be dangerous when posted on a public site.  The file does contain hardware and driver information, but your hardware isn't unique, and your drivers aren't either.

Still, if you want, I can post letting you know that I've seen your dxdiag, at which point you can take it down again by editing your post.

@Kurbizzle  I've seen the dxdiag, so you can take it down now if you want.  There are several issues that should be addressed.  One is that the Windows USB 3 driver is crashing, which may not be a big deal at all: just unplug any device that uses a USB 3 connection and restart the computer.

Your dxdiag also lists a few Windows update failures, so it's a good idea to clean these up.  Start with a couple of basic checks of your Windows system files:

    • Hit Windows key-X
    • Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator),” whichever option is offered
    • Inside the window that appears, copy and paste “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes, and enter
    • The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here
    • After it reaches 100%, hit Windows key-X again
    • Again, choose “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator)”
    • Inside the window, copy and paste “sfc /scannow” without quotes, and enter
    • Post the message you receive here

Restart your computer, hit Windows key-i, select Update & Security, and click the box to check for updates.  If any install, restart again afterwards.

The most relevant issue to the problem at hand is likely your graphics driver, which is somewhat old.  You can get the newest one from AMD here:

    https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-6000-series/amd-radeon-6700-series/amd-radeon-rx-6700-xt

Try the Recommended one, dated December 8, first; the newer one may be a beta even if the site doesn't say so.  Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator."  Restart your computer after installing the driver and before trying to play.

If that doesn't help with the screenshots, please set your monitor to run at hte next refresh rate down from 170 Hz, which is its current setting.  170 is technically an overclock, and while it should be stable, an overclock can produce glitches like what you see in your screenshot.  165 Hz should be fine, but if not, try 120 or 144, whichever is offered.

@puzzlezaddict They finally work!!! Thank you so much, I seriously could not have done this without you!!

I'm not sure if you still want it, but heres the results of the sfc /scannow:

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them. For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag.

Again thanks!!! I think my pc needed this, regardless of the screenshots XD

@Kurbizzle  I'm glad to hear it, and you're very welcome.  The message you've posted says sfc did its job, so no need to follow up on that.  I'd suggest running DISM and sfc every few months just for the overall health of your computer; the worst that can happen is you wait a few minutes for the commands to tell you that everything is fine.
