@LadyBrittany84 This error is typically antivirus-related, so please set exceptions in yours for TS4_x64, TS4_DX9_x64, and TS4_Launcher_x64, or the entire Bin folder they're in.
Thank you for your help. I was somehow able to get the repair to work and fix the corrupted files, and the new update that was pushed yesterday also helped.

Hello can someone help me? It's my first time downloading the sims. I did it with steam but every time I try to open the game I get this message "135dec40:29f00e76:00000083:b032c32e" I tried a lot do things like the anti virus one but it didn't work...
