Game keeps crashing

Hey

so my game has been crashing all day and i have followed multiple troubleshooting guides; updating my graphics driver, clearing the cache file and so on. I also have removed my cc and checked for updates in mods. (the only ones ive kept is MCC 4.0 and UI cheats 1.49).

the game only runs for a day or two without real difficulty, but then out of nowhere it just crashes. No loading screens or freezing. Just plain crashes.

Ive attatched the last crash file which i think suggest that this is a graphic driver issue,  but ive just updated it and basically every other driver.

Im at a loss over what to do, so pls help me.

Thanks!

I am on PC! Sorry i should’ve said in my post. I am on my stationary PC

  • Peina11  Please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

  • Peina11  Please uninstall Razer Chroma, a component of which is crashing and taking Sims 4 down with it.  If that alone doesn't help, uninstall any other Razer apps you have: Synapse, Cortex, whatever you can find.

It may be sufficient to uninstall and reinstall these apps, but please test at least once with them removed.

Ive checked for those apps, and i do not think I have any installed..  but game keeps crashing

  • Peina11  Sorry for the late reply; I've been away from the forums for a bit.

The errors in your old dxdiag were very clear, so please search your computer for Chroma and Razer and see what you get.  If you don't find anything, and the game crashes again, we can look for new errors.

To check, have a look at the Reliability Monitor.  Click Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day.  Today is on the right.

Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your most recent Sims 4 crash.  If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here.  If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.
