Re: Laptop to play sims 4 under £400
@wi9u3qmw6rnq Do you specifically want a refurbished laptop, with better specs but probably no warranty, from Ebay? Or would you like a new, less-powerful laptop from a standard retailer? You (or I) could probably find a gaming laptop on Ebay for £400 or less, one that could run all current Sims 4 packs on a mix of high and ultra graphics settings at least. A new laptop would have hardware that could probably only handle medium-high settings.
Here's the best example I'm seeing in the latter category in terms of price and hardware:

These have equivalent processors and graphics chips, plus the same memory and storage, so performance in Sims 4 should be roughly the same for all of them. They're just a bit more expensive, but still within your price range. The Asus likely has the best screen of the three, although that's going to be somewhat subjective.

These alternatives are a little slower in terms of graphics performance but very close to the ones above, in case you don't like the other options. The second one has a newer, faster processor, but the same graphics chip, which will be the limiting factor in terms of game performance. They're otherwise pretty much the same laptop.
These are the equivalent of the HP and cheaper Dell above, with the same or equivalent processors and graphics chips, just less storage. 256 GB is enough for Sims 4 and all its content, but it's convenient to have more if you can afford it. Still, if this laptop is only for Sims 4, your sister would likely be fine with the smaller drive.

If you have more questions about any of these, or in general, please feel free to ask.
