Re: Last Exception Error

@kellaa111  Does LT possibly stand for Life's Tragedies?  If not, you can test your mods in batches and see whether the problem reappears.  If it does, the corrupt mod is in the batch you just added, and you'll need to split it and retest until you've found the problem file.

    Hi there!

    Thank you for your response!

Im not sure, I've already removed the Life Tragedies file from the Mods folder but I'll still get the Last exception error upon opening the game.

I've already tried the 50/50 method but I still can't figure it out.

I also removed all files and only kept MCC and I still got the notification, I reinstalled MCC as well but without any results. ☹️

If I do the 50/50 method, should I keep the MCC mod in the Mod file to get the notification or can I do it without?

    Thanks!

@kellaa111  It's possible that the mod data is already in your save in a way that's causing the LE even after you remove it.  What you can do is try playing with only MCCC and your saves in an otherwise clean user data folder.  Move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, launch the game to create a clean folder, add a new copy of MCCC, and copy the saves folder from the old Sims 4 folder to the new one.  (Copy and paste rather than dragging and dropping so you can experiment while still preserving the original copy.)

If you still get the error, you can try loading a backup save rather than the current one.  Here's how:

You might lose a bit of gameplay, but hopefully the error won't reappear.  If it does though, you might not need to worry too much about it.  Some LEs are minor and can be ignored, and if you don't notice any issues with your save, this may be one of those cases.  I wouldn't reinstall Life's Tragedies though, at least not for a while.
