@sblair That's certainly a very good monitor and a good price. The one thing to note is it has a VA panel, which has good colors but is not as bright as IPS. If you generally play in a dark room, it's completely fine, but if you want bright lively colors even with other lights on, consider an IPS panel instead. If you'd like help picking one out, let me know what size you're looking for (only 32", or some larger range) and any other details that matter to you.

@sblair That's definitely a good monitor, and if you like it, then there's no reason not to get it. There aren't a lot of options in the 32" and up range, either at Best Buy or in general. If you'd be comfortable with a 27" monitor, this is also an excellent option:

There are a lot more 27" monitors in the $250 price range on other sites too, but that's a moot point if you'd prefer a larger screen.
I really appreciate all the suggestions & help! You've given me a lot of good options to think about & it's saving me money on unnecessary extras. Thank you for taking your time to help those of us who don't know a lot about computers, find something worthy of a playing a game we all love.
