Seems like you completely misread what I said so, again, nope. The mods themselves are perfectly working, downloaded, updated, synced, and not the problem. It is the game. Not sure how to make that any clearer
Edit: unless you somehow would like to explain to me how over 2,000 mods that are all completely updated (with new patches) and downloaded correctly are the problem and not the single game lmao.
@stormythewormy Please test a few mods in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, launch the game to create a new folder, enable mods and custom content, and quit. Download a fresh copy of one mod, something confirmed to be compatible with the current patch level (1.85), and see whether it works.
If the game doesn't load with that mod in place, please let me know whether you've moved the default location of the Sims 4 user folder, for example to an external drive. And if you use a third-party antivirus, let me know which one.
