@Csifool  Please clear Origin's cache:

and repair the game: open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.

If that doesn't help, please test in a clean user folder.  Move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  Don't add anything to it yet; just see whether the same problem happens in a new save.

You can't however pick likes and dislikes in story mode.  This is by design; if you don't like the choice, feel free to say so in this thread:
