I'm in the same boat, I removed all the CCs and Mods and it worked without them, but it won't work with them - does this mean I can't use mods on my game at all anymore?

you need to update your mods/cc to work with the seasons patch.

Ive tried doing that and its still not fixed im not sure what to do.

Have you tried clearing your game cache and deleting the the localthumbcache.package from the Sims 4 folder to help with troubleshooting.
