@marianah0206 Please make sure mods are still enabled in game options. They're automatically disabled with each patch.
If that's not the issue, please make sure you're adding the mods to the correct user data folder, and not for example a copy of that folder in cloud storage. Here's how to check:

They are enabled and I’m adding to the correct folder I just triple checked and still my mods are not showing up in game and or popping up when the main screen pops up to play.
@marianah0206 Does your computer run the Legacy Edition of Sims 4? If so, new mods would mostly be incompatible, and you'd need to download older versions specifically meant for the Legacy Edition.
If that's not the issue, please move your entire Sims 4 user data folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. Launch the game to create a clean folder, enable script mods and cc at the Main Menu, and quit. Then download a fresh copy of one mod and add it to the new folder. Let me know whether it works.
If it doesn't, please open a File Explorer window and take a screenshot showing the contens of your Sims 4 folder, including the file path above the list of files.
