Similar issue here. She was nominated so I sent her to the ceremony. When I tried to get her inside the building it cancelled from her queue, presumably because she is only a 2 star celebrity. But the actions with the bouncer were grayed out and it said she had already got access to the door. Normally, I would guess she had temporary access because of the nomination, but she has got through it once before too when she was invited on a date there and somehow ended up inside without my having her interact with the bouncer.
Anyway, while I was trying to get her into the ceremony the notification popped up that she had won and the award would be in her household inventory.
She eventually got inside but had no interactions available to collect the award and just watched the rest of the ceremony and the others collecting their awards.
When she got home there was no award in the household inventory.
