Re: my sims / houses and rooms are not showing up in gallery and libery

Are those subfolders or compressed files ? You need to unzip if those files are zip or not use sub folders if they are subfolders.

Tray Folder doesn't allow for subfolders

  • They are all unzipped. I took everything out of the folders and made sure they weren't zip files. But they still don't show up in my library.

Are you using icloud ? If so, you might need to put them in the tray folder there.

  • I do not use Icloud. I'm not sure if I have to change the settings on the game or there is something that I'm doing wrong.

As @crinrict has already stated, you shouldn't have any subfolders in the Tray folder. Those numbered folders are from TSR, you need to move the contents of the subfolders into the Tray folder. Your Tray folder should just have a load of files beginning with 0x0000... in it, NO subfolders.

Can you also please confirm the file path of your Tray folder? It should be Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Tray.

Can you please check that your iCloud Drive isn't enabled in System Preferences too? Or if it is, that you don't have it set so your Documents folder is stored in the cloud.
