Re: Origin Showing My Game Not Installed After Downloading Expansion Pack
@simgamer2 Open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Locate Game. Then navigate to where Sims 4 is installed. Ideally, Origin should verify the files and be done.
However, sometimes Origin crashes in the process. In that case, it might be easier to redownload the game. If that would take too much time though, there's a trick you can try instead. Rename the Sims 4 folder in Program Files (x86), or wherever you've installed the game. (This is not the user folder in Documents, it's the one that has the game data inside.) Start to download the game in Origin, then pause it. Copy over the contents of the Sims 4 folder you renamed into the new folder where Origin started to download your game; feel free to overwrite what's already there. Then unpause the download. Origin should, again ideally, simply verify the files.
