I'm moving this to tech as you found the cause.

If there's more folks saying that happens, I'll move it back but it needs to happen on a vanilla game as we can't be sure what caused this. I do not think your MCCC settings should be at fault but you never know.

Let me know if the cat doesn't have their kitten in the near future or if it happens again.

Also, could you please use the edit button (three dots in the upper right corner of the post - Edit post) in the future if you have something to add to your post and no one has answered. Thanks.

    Thank you Crinrict for your help. If the cat doesn't give birth i will post again. I guess it must be a mod somehow. I probably will never know until someone else has this happen. And sorry about not using edit post. I am having trouble to understand how these forums work sometimes. I am not used to be at forums or social media much. Must be my age. LOL!

    Update:

    Hi Crinrict, you asked me to let you know if the cat had her kittens or not. She has not. I kept the mod search sim info from itasan in the game and it was still saying she was pregnant. However after a while (i play on longer lifespan with mccc) i got the notification that the cat was in labour. But she did not show any signs of labour. I waited for 48 sim hours, but no kittens. And she is acting her normal self, not vomiting anymore and doesn't seem to be pregnant anymore. So i guess this is solved although not sure what has been going on.
