Re: Please help me with storage

@myaw0rld73

The game will be storing user data locally in the Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder. Why do you think it is in iCloud? Do you have iCloud Drive enabled to sync the Desktop & Documents folder in the cloud and not have very many files in either location?

    @Bluebellflora Hello I’m sorry i honestly don’t understand the question…my mods folder and the things inside is what’s causing it to be full…and i believe my iCloud is synced up whenever i add knew mods and cc it has that loading thing next to the cloud and it says it’s syncing within my mods/electronic arts and sims 4 folder in documents if that makes sense…sorry again I’m not super savvy with computers

    @myaw0rld73  You can find instructions for setting up iCloud Drive in Windows here (scroll down to the Windows computer section):

    https://support.apple.com/guide/icloud/set-up-icloud-drive-mm203b05aec8/icloud

    Except you want to disable this, or at least disable sharing for your Documents folder, or Sims 4 folder.  I can't give you exact instructions because I don't know how you've set up iCloud on your PC in the first place or which option is best for you.  Personally, I would disable sharing entirely, but perhaps you have a use for it.  The important thing is that your Sims 4 user folder is excluded.

    If you aren't sure where to look, check out the two other guides linked in that Windows section.  If you still don't know what to do, let me know how you've set up iCloud and whether you have other uses for it.

    Regardless of your preferences, the answer is definitely not to buy more iCloud storage.  That's completely unnecessary.
