Re: Possible Save Bug in Sulani?

Oh. Thank you, @puzzlezaddict ! I can use use all the help I can get.

@StarryMight Oops! My bad. I should have been more specific. I started a new save file. Though, I haven't tried resetting my Sims 4 folder yet. That didn't even cross my mind, actually. I should try that next.

It's okay, thanks for the info, and yes, do try that next (in case you need a refresher: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/READ-FIRST-Troubleshooting-your-Game/m-p/3621199).

Ah! Thanks a bunch for the link! 🙂

So I did a factory reset and tested a brand new save and Sim, no mods or CC, all vanilla, under the same conditions. I can report that I did not experience the issue with this test. I went in and out of Manage Worlds twice and I returned to where my Sim left off at. So that's good news so far. Now, I'm going to try again with my original save and mods and see what happens. Oh, I hope this fixes it. Fingers and toes crossed!

Cool! (One suggestion, though, if you haven't put the old Options.ini back, leave it out.)

@StarryMight Sorry for the late reply. So, I may have found the cause of my issue, hopefully.

I'm not sure how I missed it, but I think the issue was being caused by one of my mods. After spending the better half of the day pulling out and putting in mods and testing the game, eventually it began behaving again after I removed the suspect mod.

Though, I'm gonna test my save a little longer and make sure before I confirm it. The reason so, is because I read another thread where someone was having similar issues as I was with their progress disappearing despite of saving their game, but they said that they never played with mods/cc.

I will let you know how it goes! Thank you so much for sticking with me! I appreciate your help and patience! 🙂

@StarryMight So, it looks like I had an outdated version of one of Coolspear's mods, "Water Scooter & Canoe - Instant Inventory, Tooltips & Live Drag Fix". Anyway, I was able to play through a whole season without any problems and almost at the end of autumn. Just to be safe though, I was going in and out of Manage Worlds and the Main Menu a few times to confirm that it is indeed behaving as it should again. I really hope that solved my problem, too!

Thank you so much! You've been a bunch of help! :D
