Re: SDX error, white sim portraits, corrupted save, etc.

I have updated my driver, uninstalled and reinstalled the game numerous of times, and this still keeps on happening to me. I don’t know what to do. I just got a few packs not too long ago (like a few days) and having the sims keep crashing (when I go into create a sim because my save files stopped working). I don’t know what to do anymore. I didn’t even think about having this much trouble playing the sims 3 a few months ago :(. I would greatly appreciate some advice at the moment. 

The error code I was getting was: 00000008:00000000000000c8. Something to do with sims delivery? I’m not sure.
