- Gednaa5 years agoSeasoned Ace@crinrict I do indeed use mods. Just wish I knew which one was causing it. I guess I'll have to spend time taking them all out and reintroducing one by one, but that will take an age! if I take mods out, my sims are dead within seconds as they are so happy with their celebrity lifestyle, they die of hysteria!
- crinrict5 years agoHero+@Gednaa Backups your save and test on that.
- Gednaa5 years agoSeasoned Ace@crinrict wish we weren't on lockdown. I can't get a drive compatible with a Mac so I can't backup. I have Apple's cloud thingy, but that doesn't seem to work. Also dropbox but not having much success with that either. Must be brain-fog (I have autism!). Thanks though, I'll keep trying. 🙂
- crinrict5 years agoHero+@Gednaa Just backup to the same drive (different place on the same drive)
All you need to do really is create a copy of your savegame, then remove the mods and find out what mod is causing it. Once you know which one, remove that, then put the copy of your save game back that wasn't affected by removing all mods.
Does that make more sense ? - Gednaa5 years agoSeasoned Ace@crinrict Ah, thanks. Yes, that does help a lot. I thought I needed a separate backup drive, which I don't have yet. You're a star!
