this didnt work for me either. no mods, the code doesnt work, and click on the items in the way you said did not work.

I have this problem as well. Except when I press ctrl+shift+c nothing happens. if anything it takes a screen shot. Not sure why or how to fix it 

If it takes a screenshot, then you have a screen shot program running in the background that uses the same key-combination.

Turn that off.

When I do ctrl+shift+c nothing happens at all, no box to type and no screen shots being taken. Any suggestions? (BTW I was able to use cheats shortly after the update, the problem occurred a day after the update)

Did you install any screenshot programs ? Usually it's another interfering in the back ground.

hey i noticed other cheats not working either i need them for my story line to work it's mostly skill cheats well it seems all the skill cheats are not working it's not my spelling i don't think  but for example i put in stats.set_skill_level Major_Charisma 10 and nothing happens the same happens when i put the cheat to raise my sims vampire ranks for my vampire sims can you help me out?

Please answer the question. Have you tried using testingcheats true and then after that using the skill cheats? Are no skills cheats working or some of them?

Not working?

If you have mods/cc in your game, remove all of them to see if the game works better.
For example, move the mods folder from C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to your Desktop and start the game.

Open your Origin client and go to My Game Library, right-click The Sims 4 and choose Repair.

Hi all,

I have the same problem after the recent update. After pressing Shift+Ctrl+C to enter cheat mode, I've tried using the Stats.fill_commodities_household cheat on its own or after entering TestingCheats True. In either case, the cheat command to fill all my sims needs doesn't work anymore. I wonder if EA did it deliberately. 

I don't want to point fingers without knowing for certain. It might be a glitch in the update. I'm having the same problem with the skills cheats.

All the other main cheats I use seem to be working (traits, relationships, no needs decay, etc).

Whatever the cause, we can only hope it be resolved soon.
