Re: Sims 4 crashes after last update when a character dies.

Does your dying Sim have a lot of stuff in their inventory ? That is usually the cause.

Try empting out the inventory before the Sim dies.

  • Clearing her inventory worked, thanks!

I have also been having a lot of issues with the fridge and being unable to cook or clean out spoiled food or take anything from inside the fridge. I know there's a thread for it somewhere so I'm going to go find that thread for the issue. Thank you for the help!

I tried to empty the inventory. Then an apple got stuck on my mouse, only when hovering over the bottom task bar of the game. When I clicked on things the apple was like a stamp. stamping where ever I clicked.

Any other ideas? I have updated my bios and drivers, repaired the game. I didn't have an issue till I installed the "Work" extension. It ran fine till the first update applied.

Try saving your game under a new name, then go back to the main menu and restart the game. Then try selling the apple again.

So you are assuming that I MUST know when and where my sim will be supposed to die?

There's no quick way. You have to sell them pile by pile
