are you using any mods in your game ? Are you on PC or console ?

i know this is an old post but I too am getting the error when i try to save, didn't have the issue till i purchased Island living. I have no CC and no Mods just the base game through origin access and the Island living that i purchased. 

also if this is something we can't fix I would like a refund, if you can tell me how that works, I pay monthly for access to the games and have paid for the expansion, and if it is not usable then my money is wasted.

I'm experiencing the same error message as displayed above, no custom content and no mods. Lost over 4 hours worth of progress due to not being able to save my file. I am also no longer able to have the two sims get married, I created both together in the CAS and now one of them is showing as an employee of the other. Please fix!

i am having the same issue. its so annoying playing for 3-5 hours and all your hard work is gone

Hi @cutxmyxheartxout, check out the thread Crin's linked above to see if that's the same error you're getting please. If it's not, could you create a new/current bug report on this issue? I'll lock this thread in the meantime.
