Hi, Im having the same problem. Can you help me please.

You only have a 32 bit operating system. C&D requires 64 bit.

You can upgrade for free but I don't think it's worth it as your computer processor is also too low in specs for the expansion pack.

I'm having the same problem and I did the Dxdiag.

Your Graphics driver is very old. Visit AMD to upgrade to the latest.

Also your Graphics card shares memory with the system and you only have 4 GB RAM meaning that there are about 2GB for the game which isn't much.

I updated the driver but is there a way to delete the used space on the RAM or Reboot? Restart?

You^'re getting the message for the same reason other's here: You don't have 4 GB of RAM available which would be needed for the EP

Question is: Is it just a warning and you can play anyways or does it not let you play ?

It does not work like this with RAM. You may be able to upgrade with more RAM check your manual to see if it is possible and if so what you need.

Great that you can play.

If you want to get rid of the notification you must upgrade with more RAM.

So it basically tells you that you don't fulfill the requirements and that you may run into issues down the road.

I would save often to make sure you don't loose a lot should the game crash (out-of-RAM crashes will probably be an error you would possibly be running into). Also save rotationally (have more than one save game and save over these in turns)

Your processor is below minimum requirements and you only have 4 GB RAM which is shared with the graphics which mean that you have too little available RAM to run the game. Also your graphics driver is almost 3 years old. You should update it.

I'm having a similar issue, but I have a Windows 10 64-bit operating system. I just did the dxd report and I've posted it here.

I reinstalled Sims 4 and Origin within the last day. The only way I can open either is by searching for it on the Start menu. Neither program shows to have desktop icons, although when I search for them within the computer, it tells me they're on the desktop. Sims 4 gave me an error message saying I've run out of space, but I don't know where to cut down if that step is necessary without causing problems within my computer system. Any and all help would be appreciated.

Your Graphics driver is very old. Start by updating that and see if that helps.

Your Graphics drivers are 4 years old upgrading that may help a bit but the main issues are your CPU and RAM.

I have this problem, the thing is i have enough space and memory. so i dont know what it could be. my dxdiag is attached.

There are some crashes related to Memory please try running Windows Memory Diagnostic and see what it reports. Notice this requires a reboot and will take some time.

Also your graphics driver is a little old. you should upgrade it.

I'm having the insufficient memory problem. I don't have that much pack and I've played the game perfectly till that day. I tried to uninstall and install the game back but it didn't work. Then, I cleaned the C folder but it didn't work as well. I shut  down my background tasks prior to loading the game but it still same. I've also done the "msconfig" thing but it didn't work too. I can play game perfectly but it's kinda weird without the custom contents that I've downloaded. I've done my backup before uninstalling the game I still can play the games that I've saved but i miss my mods and my cc :/

@imbadfordean  Are you saying the game runs without mods and cc?

Yeap when I start the game it says "your computer has insufficient memory to run sims 4 with yout current installed pack(s). This may lead to poor game stability." I've cleaned C folder and I've changed my mods folder's place for a short time to see if it's about the huge cc colection but it still says same thing.
