@vaniapiller What have you tried so far? Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, do a "vanilla" test to see if a mod/CC is your problem: Move (not copy) the Mods folder to the desktop (or rename it), delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.
@luthienrising yes i have done everything: restart computer, uninstall and install the game and the ea app, uninstall and moved to steam, vanilla, the 50/50 method for mods (i checked if they were updated bc i dont use that many mods), everything that was stated before on this page and updated my graphics card. I really dont know what else to do bc i spend so much money on the sims ☹️ I play for about 5-10 min and suddenly it freezes and then the game closes by itself ...

@vaniapiller Thank you. Are you on a Mac or a PC? I'll get you to a tech support area, since your issue isn't mod-related.

@vaniapiller Please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Please also let me know whether you're currently running Sims 4 through the EA App or Steam, and whether you're currently playing a new save or one that you created before the crashing started.
