Re: sims 4 keeps crashing
@ChAoTiCxDrEaMeRz When does the game crash, for example when you try to load a specific lot or when you're entering or leaving CAS? If there's any pattern at all, please let me know. The crashes in your dxdiag are a bit generic in that they can be caused by bad mods or custom content or other game-related issues, and I don't know how many of them happened before you removed your mods and cc.
If you can't find a pattern, please try playing in a clean boot:
The one service to leave enabled is the EABackgroundService, which the EA App needs in order to run. Disable the rest as described.
When you reboot your computer, go through the Task Manager's background processes list shutting down any service that doesn't absolutely need to be running, for example anything from MSI Afterburner to RGB software might still be enabled. If you accidentally kill a critical process and it doesn't restart on its own, just reboot your computer again.
Don't open anything other than Sims 4 and the EA App while testing, not even a browser window.
If that doesn't help either, please repeat the test, except with your computer offline. You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play.
The idea here is to strip away as many possible sources of interference as you can, then if the game is stable, start adding them back until you find the culprit. It's not a solution so much as a diagnostic process.
