Re: Sims 4 lag because of trendi outfits on sims' inventory

@puzzlezaddict I did get bluescreen but that was like 3-5 months ago and it wasn't because TS4. Does that affect the game performance?

Updating windows, playing offline, and resetting game folder didn't help at all. I noticed that disabling mood sting audio helped the lag, but compared to before highschool update my game is not as smooth.

What kind of good cleaning are you suggesting? I still have hundreds of GBs left on my HDD since I only have TS4 and TS3 in it.

@kixxinghae  I actually meant a physical cleaning, like blowing out the fans and the air intake/outtake filters.  I have no idea whether temperatures are the problem here; I was just throwing that out as a possibility that would account for the problems but also not mean there was anything wrong with the laptop itself.  It's easy enough to check temps with a tool like hwinfo (free download) if you want.

Your dxdiag lists a LOT of BlueScreens, and given how many small errors Windows reports, I'd guess these are much more recent than a few months ago.  If you'd like me to take a look, open a File Explorer window and enter this in the address bar:

    C:\Windows\Minidump

If you see any dump files from after you noticed this issue, right-click on them (the last two or three only) and select Copy, then right-click on your desktop and select Paste.  From there, zip the files together, upload the .zip to the free filehosting site of your choice, and link it here.
