You're not alone in this. Some people who have high-end PCs (like me) are having sudden framedrops, glitches such as save game bloating, ram leaking and so on.
I was also watching one of EA Game Changer's gameplay video and even she reported that her game started lagging since the last update.
I'm just hoping for a new hotfix from EA at this point. But only god knows when are they gonna release it..

Thanks for the reply, but I've already seen those threads (including Father Winter issue)
My game was crashing and shutting itself down as soon as he teleported to my house.
Then I started to play with a fresh save, deleted my mods and lastly, I removed winterfest completely from my calendar...
And sudden framedrops/weird glitches still persisted.
