@puzzlezaddictafter done everything you suggested, the sims 4 still takes forever to load, currently on 12 min and still on the first loading screen (with green sim diamond and blue blackground). SFC command didn't found anything aswell as the DISM. The game is installed on a ssd.
Edit: after waiting roughly 20 - 25 min, I finally entered the main menu, create a sim and choosing a neighborhood didn't took this long( 3-5 sec maybe).
Edit 2 : I found the solution to my problem!! after adding the sims 4 to the antivirus software's exception list, it took 5 sec to open sims 4 and to the main menu.
@Jacksonnl What antivirus program are you using? It would be good to know which one causes this particular issue, as opposed to all the other issues that we've been seeing recently.
