Re: Sims 4 Not Launching Corrupted Files (Fresh Install No Mods)
Okay, I followed all your steps up until deleting The Sims 4 folder from Documents\Electronic Arts . I couldn't delete the folder because I got a Windows error, "Cloud file provider not running". I looked up how to solve it and discovered it was an issue with One Drive. I turned on one drive, deleted the Sims 4 folder in documents, and when I went to repair the game via origin I accidentally launched it and it launched just fine. I closed the game, launched Origin, repaired The Sims 4 and the game launched successfully once again. I believe One Drive may have been the issue as no problems were found doing the previous steps. Either way, thanks a lot for your help! I have no idea why the game is saved as a cloud file as I disabled One Drive long ago, (cloud saving on startup caused slowdown and general frustration). Again, thanks for everything!
