I updated the drivers after this problem started. This problem basically started as I played Sims 4 shut computer off went to bed and when I went to play it the next day it won't load. Any changes or updates were made after problem to troubleshoot or try to fix. So there were no changes made prior to this problem.
  • I'm in the exact same boat as you.

Game worked fine for several days, now it stops working at launch.  I've reinstalled the game, reinstalled orgin, updated drivers, disabled antivirus, launched it from the desktop...  basically tried every single suggestion I've found (and I've done a LOT of searching).

    It still doesn't work.

I'm growing increasingly frustrated and wish I hadn't wasted my money on this.

At least I'm not the only one! Lol! I feel retarded for spending the money I did to buy the game. I'm having my computer looked at now, I'm at the end of my rope! Good luck! :-)

The tech did not find anything wrong with the computer side of things. They tried the same things I did and it still does not load. This is the only game that locks up. I paid $80 bucks for this game being the delux version and it doesn't work, and it's the only game that doesn't work and it's not my computer, yes I still need help!

Oh, you meant the computer was out of your hands. I thought you tried to get a refund 🙂

Did you try a clean boot ?
