Re: Sims 4 reinstalls every time I play after taking a month~ long break

@itzTRL  The solution depends on why this is happening in the first place.  If you have a third-party antivirus, it may be blocking a Sims 4 program file or some other data related to the game, and in that case the fix would be to set exceptions for Origin.exe and TS4_x64.exe.  If you've installed the game on an external drive, make sure it's receiving the same driver letter in Windows each time.

If neither of these applies to you, the next time this happens, try right-clicking on the Sims 4 icon in your Origin library and selecting Locate Game.  Provided the game hasn't actually been uninstalled, Origin should verify the game data, repair if necessary, and allow you to play.
