This shouldn't delete any of your data, but if you get to step 14 and are NOT asked to keep personal files and apps, back out and start over.
Hi ! Sorry for my late reply, I tried to do what you told me but it’s a bit difficult for me, especially because I’m Italian so I’m worried to install something that I can’t totally understand; but today I tried again Sfc and there’s written “ no integrity violations found”; and obviously The sims still can’t launch
@ChiaraTravaglino It's really important to try a repair install given the errors you've been seeing. So please either find a different guide (and I can't read Italian, so I can't help there), or plug this website into an app or service that translates for you. Google Translate can handle whole web pages and images.
If you do get through the repair install and still can't play Sims 4, please post a new dxdiag.
