@JewelWing You absolutely should not need to factory reset the PC. It should be possible to find the issue without nearly such a drastic measure.
If you switch the EA App back to English, does it help? What language is Sims 4 installed in, and did you change that too? And what country are you in?
I have the same problem now. Last week still can play nfs unbound. Already tried uninstall using revo. Login using EAlauncher with steam. Play games using ea desktop. Still have the same problem stuck on preapraing games and close.
@D3Angel Are you having an issue with Sims 4? This is the Sims 4 PC tech forum, and most of us here know very little about most other EA games. So if you need help with a different game, please post in that game's forum, or post in the EA App forum for generic download/install help.
