@SHXYDE  Try deleting the entire Bin folder, as well as any desktop shortcuts you have for Sims 4.  Make sure the EA App is closed and the EABackgroundService is NOT running in the Task Manager's background processes list first.  Then repair the game (App game library > Sims 4 > Manage > Repair) and try to play.

If this doesn't help, repeat the process but with your antivirus disabled.  As long as you don't do anything else at the same time, your computer should be safe, and you can reenable the AV after trying to open the game.
