Do you not have a UI or is the house just empty ?

I just fixed my problem, I followed the steps https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199 and now everything is back to normal again. I think my save files, somehow, got broken, cuz everytime I put the save and try file back int othe game, the issue appeared again. My CC and mods work fine (except for some furniture).  In case anyone is having this issue too, I uploaded my households in to the gallery und just downloaded them again, after I reset my game. Problem completely solved, now I'm having fun with my cute pets 🙂

Hi, There! that seems to be my problem! i think...... I go to create a family, it takes me to the worlds screen then i pick a lot, i click to play. it then proceeds to take me back to the worlds screen! i hover above the families and they suddenly disappeared! there's only a 3D square where the family used to be. help?? 

P.S I do Have a lot of CC and have tried removing/Updating the mods i do have! and it still isn't working ☹️

the house isn't empty, just have no sims at all on the game, i use create a sim, i create a family then proceed to put them in a house and then they vanish. when i go on the world and i run my mouse over the exsisting houses all i see is a blue flashing square - no sims!  the 'manage households'  is the same as in there are no sims, only boxes telling what names the families are, when i go to the button move household, it says i can't cos the household is empty

that's exactly what my problem was. I don#t know what causes that issue, but in my case creating a brand new sims 4 file, fixed the problem. I uploaded my families in the gallery so I didn't loose them. maybe you can try that @mandkirst
