@EllieBucket Just to be clear, do any crashes happen in the new save? In the old save, did you use custom traits, and if so, could there be any sims that only had custom traits, so that with everything removed they have no traits at all? What about custom foods, where there might still be a leftover plate somewhere?
There’s no crashes at all in the new save. I don’t use custom traits and I use custom food but I don’t recall there being any leftover plates or anything.
Just wanted to let you know that I tried another old save, copying it into the clean folder and I couldn't even load into my household. The game was just stuck on a loading screen, I don't know what's happening lol.

For the second save you tried, please also try loading a different lot.
I’ve loaded the older version and that seemed to work fine. However with the second save, I played a different family and travelled to a different lot and it still crashed.
@EllieBucket With the second save, does an older version work, either with your main household or a different one? It's possible that the newest versions of your saves are corrupted but older ones still work, or that more versions of one save are corrupted than the other. I can't really say without knowing what's triggering the error, but it's useful to at least figure out which saves are usable as-is.
An older version doesn’t work, it’s just stuck on a loading screen whilst trying to load the household. I don’t know what can fix it at this point
@EllieBucket Can you load a different household in the older version of this save? If so, try moving your main sims to a different lot, through Manage Worlds so you don't need to load their current lot.
I can play as another household and am able to travel with them etc. I’ve just moved my main household to another lot but still having the same loading screen problem.
@EllieBucket Try splitting the sims off one by one. The problem might be a single sim.
I’ve found that the problem is with one of the sims in this save, so thank you for helping me with that. I tried loading up my game with everything in and it got suck on the opening plumbob loading screen. Not too sure why this has happened.
