Hi, I'm having the same issue. I put my config folder into desktop but how do i let my game create a new one?

    @janinepratt1  Your hardware is weak for Sims 4 but should still be able to run the 64-bit version.  Your graphics card is also being used, although it's not recognized; that can be fixed if you want but isn't necessary and probably doesn't have anything to do with the Legacy Edition.  Sometimes Origin tells people with only 4 GB RAM to install the Legacy Edition even though they don't technically need it, and that may be the case with you as well.

    The errors in your dxdiag show that you are or were recently running the standard version of Sims 4, not the LE.  You can double-check this in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, select Game Properties > Advanced Launch Options, and make sure 64-bit is showing in the dropdown menu.  Does the standard version run now?  If so, you can ignore any warnings to install or run the LE.  If not, let me know.
