Community ManagerThere should be no incomplete installations after a reboot. The Sims 4 needs the 2010 and 2013 packages, I think you should uninstall those from your Windows Control Panel and then run the four vcredist installs (from your Sims 4 location) after another reboot. Again, let us know what happens with that, thanks.
I have the same problem. I can't install the VC files, because it says it has to wait for another install to complete. There is no other install and rebooting did not fix this problem. Did you fix it?
Edit: Just after posting this, I fixed the problem by ending "Windows Installer" in the task manager. This made the installation of the vcredist possible and now my sims game works!
